In the morning of 3 November, five brave team members from ISG Hong Kong participated in ‘Lap Dog Challenge’ – an annual fundraising event held at the Stanley Ho Sports Institute’s 400m athletic track.

Participating for the third year in a row, ISG was joined with 44 other runners from nine industry-leading companies including Gammon, WT Partnership, Leighton and Pinsent Masons to complete as many laps of the 400-metre running track within five hours. All efforts and funds raised were dedicated to support The Lighthouse Club Hong Kong Benevolent Fund, a registered charity that helps construction workers and their families who need financial assistance due to undesirable health condition.

ISG completed an impressive total of 472 laps and a combined distance of 188.8km, effectively contributing to the total amount raised for the initiative, which amounted to HK$1.3m.

Commenting on the outcome, managing director, Tim Threlkeld said, “The fundraising event was a great success with the completion of 498 more laps compared to last year’s. It was such a fantastic achievement for everyone involved and we are really proud to be a part of such a meaningful cause. We would also like to thank all of the sponsors for their donations - with their generous support, we can make an immediate difference in the lives of people who need them within our industry.”
